InkShift NFC Custom Display iPhone Case

The InkShift NFC Custom Display Case features a built-in E-Ink screen that lets you display your own photos, artwork, patterns, or simple graphics on the back of your phone. Choose an image through the compatible app, hold the phone near the case’s NFC area, and transfer the design without cables or a separate case battery.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range wireless connection that works when two compatible devices are brought very close together. For this case, simply activate NFC on your phone, choose your image in the companion app, and hold the phone near the case’s NFC sensing area to transfer the design. No cable, Bluetooth pairing, or separate case battery is required

The protective TPU and PC construction helps absorb everyday knocks, while the tempered-glass display window protects the customisable panel. Available in multiple case colours and model-specific variants.

Compatibility Notes

• The exact phone model must be selected when ordering; cases are not interchangeable between models.
  
• A compatible app is required (and provided) to prepare and transfer images.
• The phone may need to be placed against a specific NFC sensing area during transfer.
• Remove thick magnetic accessories, cards, or metal attachments if they interfere with NFC communication.
• App availability and compatibility can change with operating-system updates.

Important E-Ink Information

An E-Ink screen is intentionally different from an LCD or OLED display. It does not reproduce photographs with the same brightness, colour range, resolution, or smooth gradients as a normal phone screen.

Simple artwork, portraits with strong contrast, line drawings, logos, text, and limited-colour designs will generally display better than dark or highly detailed photographs. 

• Only one static image is displayed at a time.
• Image transfer speed and success depend on correct NFC positioning, phone compatibility, and the companion app.
• The E-Ink panel is more pressure-sensitive than an ordinary plastic phone-case surface. Avoid sharp objects, heavy pressure, bending, and hard impacts.
• Do not expect photographic colour accuracy comparable to the original phone display.
• The case itself does not require charging, but briefly draws energy from the phone through NFC while refreshing the image.
• NFC refresh may consume a small amount of phone power during transfer, although the displayed image requires no ongoing power afterward.
• Protective performance is intended for ordinary daily use and does not make the phone damage-proof.
